Who We Are

House of Hope Joplin exists to heal hurting teens and restore broken families through the grace, hope, and love of Jesus Christ.

From the Director

The staff of House of Hope Joplin absolutely loves teens and can see the unique position that they are in these days.  Our hope is to offer them a comfortable and safe place to talk through the pain and struggles that they are experiencing and to show them the grace, hope and love of Jesus Christ.

At the same time we work to offer strength and courage to their parents.  Romans 5:3-5 says, “Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.  And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out His love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.”  That is exactly what we want to do for the families that come through our door.  We want to walk beside them during their suffering, help them to persevere and build character and to offer them hope.

Serving together for teens,
Jen Black
